7th national meeting of tourism investors from tomorrow
FICCI is set to organize the 7th National Tourism Investors Meeting (NTIM) on July 6-7 with the aim of propelling the country’s tourism industry into the post-Covid era and encouraging investment in the development of tourist infrastructure.
The Tourism Investor Meeting will bring together various stakeholders from the investment and business community, as well as the Ministry of Tourism, state governments and investors. To elevate India’s tourism industry to new heights, experts will explore potential investments in the country during the event.
The event is expected to attract national and international investors. The two-day event will be opened by Mr. Arvind Singh, Secretary of Tourism, Union Ministry of Tourism, along with Rajni Hasija, Managing Director, IRCTC, and other dignitaries.
The event will also see presentations by state governments including Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and many more showcasing various tourism projects for investment in their states.
Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson of FICCI Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Committee, and CMD Lalit Suri Hospitality Group said: “The potential of India’s tourism sector is endless. The pandemic has now subsided in India and several other countries, which is a positive sign that could revive the sector. NTIM will have the participation of several state governments, and they will present various investment opportunities in the tourism industry. I firmly believe that this edition of NTIM will attract domestic and international investors, and will definitely bring about revolutionary changes in the sector.
FICCI and Nangia Anderson LLP, Knowledge Report, will also unveil the Knowledge Report “Rebuilding Tourism for the Future 2022”. The report will focus on the latest travel and tourism trends and also highlight various investment opportunities for Indian states.
